Job Overview:
Aerotek is seeking an experienced Welder to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of welding tasks, including the assembly, installation, and repair of metal structures and components. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute welding operations on various metals, including steel and aluminum, using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to carry out precise welding tasks.
- Inspect and test welded joints for quality and conformance to industry standards, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain and calibrate welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in welding, with certifications in MIG, TIG, or stick welding being a strong asset.
- In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
